In Memory of David Shapell Z”l

Wednesday, March 11th / 20 Adar, Shloshim was observed by Shapell’s / Darche Noam and the Shapell family for David Shapell z”l. The students joined Mr. Ben Shapell and his family at the Eretz HaChaim Cemetery near Beit Shemesh for mincha and tehillim by the kever. Everyone then returned to the yeshiva to be joined by Midreshet Rachel v’Chaya and alumni for ma’ariv, the siyum by Rabbi Hirshfeld on mishnayot learned by alumni worldwide, and words of tribute by Rabbi Karlinsky, Mr. Binyamin Glickman and Mr. Ben Shapell. Not many of us met David Shapell z”l personally, but we learned about the incredible life he led and the legacy for all of us tocontinue. May his memory be for a blessing.
