FAQs:
Q: Can we participate in the couple's program if only one spouse is learning in MRC or Shapell's?
A: A couple can still participate in our couple’s programming even if only one spouse is learning in Midreshet Rachel or Shapell’s, but they will certainly benefit more from all that the program has to offer if they are both learning in our Yeshiva and Midrasha.
Q: Can we only participate when we are in shana rishona?
A: No. Although most of our participants are relatively newly married, the program is open for couples at any stage.
Q: Do we need to commit to come for a year?
A: No. Dates can be flexible to suit your schedule.
Q: Can we participate in the program if we have children?
A: Yes. It will just take advanced planning to arrange childcare.
Q: Do you offer housing?
A: We have two subsidized apartments on the yeshiva campus that are available for our 2 fellowship couples. All other couples would have to organize their own accomodations. We recommend finding apartments in neighborhoods in close proximity to the yeshiva and midrasha.
Q: Must we be full-time students to join the couple's program?
A: No. Part-time schedules can be coordinated with the yeshiva and midrasha.
Q: Is tuition assistance available If we are not eligible for the fellowships?
A: Yes. We never want to turn students away for financial reasons and do our best to make it feasible for both spouses to study in our schools.
Q: Can we participate if we are engaged, but not yet married?
A: Yes.Â
